The Nest set to host Norfolk and Suffolk Youth League Finals

The Norfolk & Suffolk Youth League has released its cup final dates for 2023, with The Nest to play host!

The finals will take place on two dates – the 23rd and 30th of April – with further details for each age group to be released nearer the time.

This is the second consecutive year that The Nest has hosted the event, which is part of the established partnership between the League and Foundation.

The partnership aims to increase opportunities for local players to benefit from the facilities at The Nest, such as the grass pitches, residential spaces, and physio services (provided by Recover Physio).

Shaun Platten, Chairman of the Norfolk & Suffolk Youth League said:

“The Norfolk and Suffolk Youth League are pleased to extend their partnership this season working alongside Ian, Jackie and their staff at the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation at the superb facility of The Nest.

“Together we hope to build on the success of last season’s finals at The Nest showcasing grassroots football at its best, making both days a football extravaganza in a fun safe environment for all to enjoy.”

Ian Thornton OBE, the Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer said:

“Last year it was great to see so much talent on display, along with seeing all the coaches and spectators create an environment that not only compliments the facility, but more importantly, something all young players fully deserve.

“Credit must go to the Norfolk and Suffolk Youth League Committee who continue to show such passion and commitment in trying to provide the best possible experience for everyone.”
