2024 was a year of growth at the Foundation, as thousands of people from Norfolk and beyond interacted with our charity work and experienced the top-class facilities at The Nest. From our state-of-the art 3G pitches to our diverse range of programmes, The Nest continues to serve as a hub for sport, development, and community impact.

One of the standout successes of last year was the record number of teams participating in our on-site football residentials. Teams from across the UK, USA, South Africa, and beyond made the journey to The Nest, taking full advantage of our superb pitches, high-quality accommodation, and on-site entertainment.

Ensuring that our residential offering reaches teams around the world is no small task. That’s why we are incredibly grateful for the support of AdSmart from Sky, who assisted in facilitating a 3-month advertising slot on their channels. This exposure has allowed us to showcase The Nest’s residential offering to a global audience, further strengthening our reputation as a premier football destination

The professionally produced advert, edited by JMS Group, has increased accessibility for teams both nationally and internationally. It also plays a crucial role in the continued growth of The Nest, helping us welcome even more visitors in the future.

Jack Rayner, Sports Tour and Events Manager at Norwich City Community Sports Foundation, expressed his gratitude for the support:

“We are incredibly thankful to Sky and JMS Group for helping us shine a spotlight on The Nest’s residential offering. Their generosity allows us to share our world-class facilities with teams from across the globe, while also ensuring that every booking directly supports our charitable work within the community.

As a facility connected to the Community Sports Foundation, all revenue from our residentials is reinvested back into the charity. This means every team that visits The Nest helps us continue the Foundation’s vital work, providing opportunities for disabled and disadvantaged individuals across Norfolk.”

Andy Grant, Sky’s Regional Sales Manager said:

“We are proud to support the Community Sports Foundation through our broadcasting and programming. Our aim is to ensure that the vital work of this charity reaches as many people as possible, helping to raise awareness and generate donations to support children across the Norfolk region. We look forward to continuing our support throughout 2025 and into 2026.”

Francesca de Lacey, JMS’s Managing Director, adds:

“At The JMS Group, we believe in using our expertise in video production to give back to the community. We are proud to offer our services free of charge to the Community Sports Foundation as they are making a difference in our community. We know that video has the power to inspire, connect, and drive change, and we are honoured to help the Foundation to amplify their impact and reach a wider audience.”

Looking ahead

With the continued support of partners like Sky and JMS Group, The Nest is set to grow even further in 2025 and beyond. The exposure gained through the advert has already led to increased interest in our football residentials, and we look forward to welcoming even more teams from the UK and across the world to experience everything The Nest has to offer.
